talksport
Poor Technique against Seam and Swing Poor Player of Spin No proven record of long innings.... He cannot last Two sessions..... Can somebody show me when he has done that? Link to comment
coffee_rules
Man has 2 100s against Pak and one 75 against Murali. He is for future MO, but now, we are happy with the old and tested. Link to comment
talksport
How many Sessions....? What they call as Burning Bridge innings or something like that Link to comment
coffee_rules
Is that the only requirement for playing test cricket? That is 70s school of thought for test cricket. If that is the case, then Hayden, Gilchrist are poor test batsmen. Link to comment
talksport
My point is about technique to play , thats the reason I asked for sessions.... Yuvraj does not have the technique nor the appetite to play long and influential innings .... He is a "ShowBaaji" He has talent ...so are many Link to comment
chamatkar
And remind us again, why WE have to "show" you that Yuvraj is a good player? It's all about varied opinions, so your opinion would be welcome but this to me, is just a flame post. Link to comment
talksport
Yuvraj thinks its his Gods given right to get into Indian Test Side over that mickey mouse form..... A Cricketer who never played 2 sesions in any form of game ....is not even fit to shine the boots of curent Indian Middle Order let alone replace them Heck I would take Sehwag over Yuvraj ...or even Kaif for that matter Link to comment

praveenj
^ What? of course, aussies were damn so glorious all these past 7 years because of their openers.... both hayden and langer are good enough to carry on for long and build an innings... and usually when this happens, no team would get a total of less than 400 unless other batsmen play like tail-enders... Ganguly although made just 39 was more commnading and assured committed one mistake and paid the penalty. Link to comment

praveenj
So? Whats your point? there was some debate about hayden not being able to play for longer periods... this was the reply to that... Link to comment
bharat297
^ I never questioned their ability to play long innings ... they have both made 20-30 centuries at Test level including some big 100s, 200s and in one case 300 (albeit against the weak Zimbabwe). They have also made some massive scores at domestic level too. Link to comment
praveenj
oooooops... the reply was meant to be at coffee-anon.. sry bharat Link to comment
