Mindreader Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Rahane or uthappa better choice than this hack
SLICKR392 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 His ODI record is still good as an opener.
BeautifulGame Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 ODIs are different from tests.Ganguly case in point Dhawan has an excellent record in odis.Cant drop him based on his test form. But also take Vijay as back up. Try Dhawan/Rahane/Vijay all 3 in CB series and decide based on performance there. And Keep Rohit @ 4
G_B_ Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 ^ agree I feel India should try everybody out in the commonwealth bank series.
tweaker Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 All the first choice players should be rested for the series & players who can fill their void should be selected
Pagalpanti Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 For some reason I think Dhawan has been a failure in tests because he's trying to be something he is not. Yeah he struggles vs swing but he's thrown it away even after settling in which suggests that his problem is mental.
IKnowU Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 No way the batting order changes so close to the world cup. Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rahane Raina Dhoni Jadeja Ashwin Yadav Shami Aaron
bharat297 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 No way the batting order changes so close to the world cup. Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rahane Raina Dhoni Jadeja Ashwin Yadav Shami Aaron Replace Shami with Bhuvi and I agree with that line up.
Soorma_Bhopali Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Replace Shami with Bhuvi and I agree with that line up. Replace Rohit with Rahane and get Rayudu/Rohit at no.4 based on whoever is in form
IKnowU Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Replace Shami with Bhuvi and I agree with that line up. Yep or also replace Jadeja with Rayudu if you feel like playing extra batsmen.
bharat297 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Replace Rohit with Rahane and get Rayudu/Rohit at no.4 based on whoever is in form I would try Rohit first as opener during the ODI series in Australia and if he doesn't perform consistently, then try Rahane.
