ODIs are different from tests.Ganguly case in point Dhawan has an excellent record in odis.Cant drop him based on his test form.But also take Vijay as back up. Try Dhawan/Rahane/Vijay all 3 in CB series and decide based on performance there.And Keep Rohit @ 4

For some reason I think Dhawan has been a failure in tests because he's trying to be something he is not. Yeah he struggles vs swing but he's thrown it away even after settling in which suggests that his problem is mental.

Replace Shami with Bhuvi and I agree with that line up.

I would try Rohit first as opener during the ODI series in Australia and if he doesn't perform consistently, then try Rahane.
