Marut Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Inzy did not have too many match defining knocks as claimed by some folks here. Inzy was a typical FTB, got exposed in both tests and ODIs. Dravid was involved in two triple century partnerships in ODIs and one of these was in England. The two highest ODI partnerships stand in the name of Dravid. Dravid figured in five double century partnerships in ODIs, whereas Inzy has three. Dravid was capable of playing comfortably in many more countries compared to Inzy, who was decent only against weaker ODI teams.
sandeep Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Dravid, only because can't afford Inzi running out another all-star batsman in the team:winky:
Brainfade Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Tangential discussion, but I couldn't but help noticing Sreesanth's bowling in that video. If only the fellow had reached his potential, we wouldn't be agonizing about Mohit and Binny and wondering which one of them is going to hit 125 kph. With him, Yadav and Shami/Bhuvi depending on conditions, we'd have a respectable pace attack.
Zestian Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 :omg: ATG Dravid's class V/s FTB Inzy. :cantstop:
amiret Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Clearly Rahul Dravid was the better batsman . Who can forget the match winning CRUCIAL knocks he played to help his team win the World Cup. *Of course that never happened . But this is ICF.
Scarves Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Inzi was a better captain but Dravid did have the keeping and was a better fielder. But Inzi was a scary batsman when he didn't run people out.
Aurang Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Both are great players but Inzamam was much aggressive and could destroy the opposition. Dravid didnt have the ability to attack the opposition. Inzamam played 4 great innings in World cups that resulted in victories for Pakistan and his team qualified for finals. His 60 in semi against New Zealand 1992 His 42 in final against England 1992 His 81 in group match against Australia 1999 His 77 against New Zealand 1999 All these matches were won by Pakistan and all these innings were played on crucial stages.Inzi was declared Man of the match thrice in these matches. He was better player in ODI cricket than the great Dravid.
