Well, Mohit/Aaron/Vijay etc are not exactly match-winners either. It is a competition about who can warm the bench better. Dhoni has his top 12, and if they are good enough, he can do well. It's another matter that the entire team is pathetic.

Both Mohit and Aaron are pathetic anyway, but would have been slightly more valuable than Binny. And we already have three openers, so what would Vijay do? Thats not the point. Point is you give players whom skipper wants and thinks fit. Every captain has different style of leading the team. Dhoni believes in medium pacers, spinners to do the job and hence he was asking for Mohit. At the end of the day if the onus is on Dhoni to lead the team, he must get the team he wants. Period. But the uneducated lobby (who ever it is) is taking test match revenge on Dhoni. What msg are selectors sending to Dhoni before the World Cup? You are a captain but your views does not matter. What msg selectors sendig to other players in the team? Your captain MS Dhoni has no powers left. This divison/politics in the team was the exact reason why we did so poorly in 2007 WC. I can bet my house 2015 WC will be a carbon copy.

And yes, it is a divided house now with two power camps. Interesting to see that the red carpet for Dhoni is gradually being taken off.

It's good to plan for four years under a young, dynamic captain. Dhoni can play as WK-batsman or only as a batsman if his ego and form permits.

Hell some people stick around till 40 in persuit for 100th 100, why not MSD? :winky:

But first let him have the same form as the guy who scored 100 100s till the age of 38. But we need a fresh captain. And I am sure that the new captain will surely win one T20 WC if he captains the team for 5 world cups. Maybe an ODI WC too.
