Indian OP have not included Umesh and Ishant... both of whom have bowled fastest of 152 k + in international matches with so many 150 k + deliveries ...especially Umesh.

Wahab Riaz can consistently bowl 145+ if he wants to, like he did in the last champions trophy where he was the quickest bowler in the tournament. Bowlers in India who can bowl 145+ Umesh Yadav Aaron Bowlers in Pakistan who can bowl 145+ Wahab Riaz Mohammad Irfan Mohammad Sami Mohammad Talha and...Mohammad Amir And there are some in domestic cricket who can bowl 140+, Ahmed Jamal comes to my mind at the moment. Then surely the ranking is invalid? Because I don't understand if it is taking consistency under consideration or one off balls. Because Steyn is definitely not the fastest bowler in the world. No one comes close to Adam Milne.

It takes one off fastest recorded balls of pacers who have played for their country in the very recent past.

They bowl above 140 km/h for about the first 5-10 overs. Then they are down to just above 135 km/h (especially Shami).

Most pacers slow down in later spells in test matches. Steyn, Harris etc. often bowl 130 to 137 k in some spells in tests. Broad and Anderson often drop down to 127 to 135 k. It is quite normal.

They have also not slowed down after playing a few years of international cricket which has happened to other bowlers. If they keep playing, their control will improve and they will learn more skills as well. With pace, skills and control, you have genuine strike bowlers and those bowlers will take some time to develop. They dont grow on trees. We need to be patient. Umesh, Varun, Shami and Ishant with Bhuvi who is a genuine swing bowler will make a good seam attack. They are all around 25-26 or younger.

Bhuvneshwar is evidently mediocre, while Aaron Yadav and Shami are not too impressive either although they are slightly better.

If you're going for 5 over spells with Johnson, you'll find him circling around 150km/h. But of course, when you get into multiple long spells, your pace may drop below that. But the pace of the Indian bowlers drops much faster.
