JaFanatic Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Lets just see how many turn up for the IPL game. Firstly, we must make sure all the existing participants join in the IPL. Once we know a rough figure of the number of participants, we can make the retention rules. If you ask me, a team should only be allowed to retain 50% of the team strength. In case of 6 members per team, only 3 can be retained or such other retention rules that has everyone's consensus. At best we can have 6 teams of 7 players each (including owners, which means 3 out of the 6 players can be retained by the team and the remaining can be bought at the auction). The retention price can be decided by the two members mutually subject to a minimum of 100 bn $ (So if a player believes that he can make better money in the auction, he may raise his price accordingly). Fixed retention price will give all teams an equal and fair chance ? What if those players charge a minimum retention price so that the team will have an advantage at the auction ? Eventually they will buy the better players in the auction!

Thats why I recommended a minimum base price for retention (say 200 bn $ considering a purse of 1 trillion and 6 players to be bought in auction).

Not sure about this time too will pick an extra player if I'm not participating. Zest is also doubtful this time.

If you're unable to compete, Owner can swap you with another player from the league who is not part of any team. (For 50B) You will be back into the team for next season after you recover from injury :nice: or We can ask players to register with CI login instead of FB/Twitter/Google so they can share their login details with their team members?

If the two players are really good ss then there is the problem they wont charge more than 200b as that team will have a better chance of winning with them and the other teams will have a disadvantage at the auction as they would have spent more for retaining their players. Point to note is players will earn more by winning the event. So those who are too good will only demand a minimum amount to give their team an advantage

Good idea Strike, but it wont for SS as the replacement might in with full quota of transfers. The 2nd will work, players can change the password after the tourney.

Then we have to wait for IPL Section to open and lets see how many ownership application we get and players.

The points earned by the captain in the Phase will be doubled
