mishra Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Guys, I have made a cricket Team and we Play in a indoor league. However I want to take it to next level where I register is properly as a club and in a long run to secure a cricket ground a coach. I have some idea about how to secure a cricket ground and its not even a immediate requirement? But My immediate questions is how do I register my cricket team as a club? How to get one of us become a registered Cricket coach? This is in UK Midlands so need to understand all red tape and bureaucracy
G_B_ Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 contact the local council..... Also might be wise for you to register as a charity. look into that.
mishra Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 Thanks G_B. We play under Warwick County County. Looks like u must need a club to become a coach. Still googling
Sachinism Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Contact these guys http://www.club-cricket.co.uk/ or whichever county club covers your area, would that be Warwickshire?
mishra Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 Yes Warwickshire. I was hoping if someone among fan group had a direct answer
Sachinism Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 These sources will help you get registered. Club Cricket is who my cricket club is registered with. They'll help you find friendlies in your areas as well. You can find out through Warwickshire about leagues in your area and what you require to be a registered club
G_B_ Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 i stopped playing competitive cricket after sixth form (high school) i am afraid But as Sachinism says might be wise to contact Warwickshire county cricket club. I am sure they will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. From what i know there are issues if your team consists of minors. In which case they need to do due diligence. But if all your members are adults then it should be easy.
