[/quote'] Ever heard of TRPs? Fact is there was so much crowd and buzz that media couldn't ignore it. But instead of recognizing such popularity for Modi, they spend most time in denying it. And about negative news? There were countless planted news, remember the snoopgate controversy. The media LS campaign was one dirty campaign against Modi with all sorts of abuses spoken. The biggest loser of the LS election was the media as they failed to connect with the overwhelmingly public support of Modi. Modi didn't get a fair coverage in LS and today, large number of paid jobs done by media to undermine government. In 8 months, there have been plenty of supposedly facts by media which were only proven wrong eventually. I am actually amazed that you think media somewhat helped Modi win LS elections, actually our paid media tried "everything" to prevent Modi from winning. Just that, it backfired big time. The former is a three time Gujarat CM - has led BJP to tremendous victories in all three - in a state which is 5-6 times as big as Delhi, ruled successfully for 12 yrs, despite constant media hounding. Found appreciation among rest of India, and led BJP to absolute majority in LS and became its most popular PM in recent times. What about Kejriwal? Appropriated the legacy of Anna hazare, politcized it, and ran on that wave to become second in a small state like Delhi. Entered into marriage of convenience with Congress (giving a middle finger to people who voted for it rejecting congress), and ran away after 49 days. Got routed in LS elections, both in Delhi and nation-wide, and himself got routed in Varanasi - a neutral place fr both him and Modi.
