I don't recall, Aus winning any major tournament since 2009 CT and Ponting's retirement The team would perform as per expectations in the group stages but could become a causality in the KOs
MCGGG Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Deserved favourites, and I feel this could be their strongest ODI team yet, if I'm right everyone else is playing for second. Alan Border said its the best fielding team Australia has produced, and their batting is just plain scary.

G_B_ Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 The MCG pitch had something in it for the spinners. As the tournament progresses if spin comes into it then IMO they can be stopped. but realistically they are the runaway favourites.

Need wrist spin 'if' spin conditions are favourable at the G, finger spin won't be a strike weapon, the pitches will change though, drop ins haven't been tested during March-April in Australia, don't expect roads.

However, it could be a different ball game once the KO begins
