MK55 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 ^ You have got a point. :cantstop: But then this is a cricket forum and the threads would usually revolve around these topics. I personally prefer the replacement/what-if/planning type of threads than some thread that focusses upon the stupidity of some media person.
jonas10 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 In 2011 we went with 1 wicketkeeper. You cant be afraid to change your game. What I would like to see is if India is going to 100% top the group with 1 game remaining give the regular players a rest and dont tempt fate.
BeautifulGame Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Also I feel we are particularly more at risk. Australia for instance has got a strike bowler like Cummins waiting if a bowler gets injured. England has got Jordan. SA has Abbot for Phillander. In comparison' date=' I'm not confident of our reserves. We haven't got a one to one replacement for our quick bowlers. Shami and Yadav have to utilize the breaks wisely.[/quote'] So Abbott and Jordan are better bowlers than Bhuvi? Cricinfo article mentioned Bhuvi bowled in the nets and Dhoni said all 15 are available for selection. So where is the fitness cloud. As someone else said every team will have issues if their key players get injured.U just have to cope with it.We lost Nehra before final last time so im sure we have the experience to adopt to such situations
Debutant Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Its just a game for our entertainment. Instead of enjoying it people are so worried !
Desi Cartman Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 This is true for all teams.... except Pakistan
youngindia Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 the only misfit in the squad is stuart binny who is purely there due to the stupidity of the selectors axar has nothing to offer now and has to prove himself in indian conditions first. apart from that, others have maintained a decent standard at international level. rayudu looks pretty compact and can play long knocks but needs more confidence at international level which will come with exposure.i wish he had played 20-30 ODI's more before this WC. but nothing can be done now. I do have confidence he can come up with fifties that can help the team. but then this forum has shown ignorance of our batting standards in the past. so y am I surprised?
Guest nimesh632 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I would love RABADA in southafrica side in place of PHILANDER, who is injured yesterday , RABADA took 14 wits in one match, he wants to become next Dale s.
Shivaji bhonsle Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 Always prepare for the worst. If something can go wrong, it will. Believe in Murphy's theory.
