HippoSucks Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 It would feel much better for us if we accept the fact that Pak will indeed qualify for the QFs' date='these dream about how they would be crushed out by the associates are temporary relief nothing more than that..[/quote'] I don't care much if they make it to the quarterfinals or not (it would be fun to see them get wrecked by Australia/New Zealand). However, the chances look slim for them at the moment. Ireland was a very strong team...
Sporty1079 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Reminds me of the Gangs of Wasseypur comment by Ramadhir Singh to his son Very nice:clap::clap::clap::clap:
Stuge Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Rest doesn't do much but he gets all the mud for playing poor .I don't get this in reality.

Ire now on 4 and pak on 2 pts. Ire need to win only against zim.The rest will be done by SA.If Pak manage to win against SA..then RR will decide.

Sid Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I know people have sympathy for this man,but to be really honest I would never want India to have a batsman like him ever,he oozes mediocrity.Watching him bat over the years one can say its a case of "andhon mein kaana raja".He has such a predictable batting formula and is such a limited batsman.Whenever he is at the crease I have this confident feeling deep down, that his team will not win.He has no game sense at all as far ODI cricket is concerned and its a travesty he was Pakistan's best ODI batsman. His clone Shezad is ready to take his place ,playing retrograde ODI cricket to perfection.

Otherwise, every Misbah knock will lead to a heavy defeat. A strike rate of 69 for the past five years in this era is the epitome of mediocrity. Even Misbah's fifties have a S/R of 77 only. The only regular ODI batsman who retired without getting a hundred. In an ultra weak Pakistani lineup he was a useful player, but anywhere outside Pakistan he would not be touched with a ten foot pole in an ODI team.
Crookbond Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 It is not like Misbah can't shift gears. It could well be argued that Misbah played the tuk-tuk because of the "legends" around him.
cartman Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 now he'll never make a ODI century, feeling sad for him :( my best wishes for his future life
