It is bound to happen. Groups who have truly been exploited for a long time - be it minority communities or women or gay people - will find a voice. In the process, they will swing the pendulum in the other direction. Some day, it will settle in the middle.

In before in-house feminist MTC writing how pathetic this is! :winky:
Of course it is pathetic. In every walk of life, men dominate to such an extent that the entire premise is laughable. We are not even 10% towards equality of women. But this is not surprising. No one want privilege to be lost. Whites cry about reverse racism, even when they are the most pampered race in the world. Same with some straights who say we are too PC. So there is no surprise.

Calling the video pathetic is an insult to all the innocent people suffering due to false accusations laid on them by some women. The current scenario is so bad that a man cannot get a divorce from his wife without being slapped with false cases.Women have been given more than an equal platform by the law to compete with men in the form of reservations. We have passed the stage of equality and are moving towards a system catering to women.I believe in absolute equality but certain laws are so screwed up that if a woman decides to destroy your life, she can well and truly do it with ease. "No one wants privilege to be lost" Are you kidding me? Name a single law that favors men more than women? It is absolutely true that women were and still are being oppressed in our country but do you really think creating biased laws is the solution?

1) When a group is so strong that it dominated every aspect of society, it does need laws favoring them. Laws always favor minority for a reason. Yes men are indeed privileged in all walks of life, from better education to better nourishment to better employment, to better salary, etc, etc 2) The reason I am against such a huge hue and cry is because the % of such cases are still very minimal while the % of women who genuinely need help from such laws is huge. By highlighting exception (which will be there in every law, every single law on earth can be misused by greedy people) you are taking away the limelight from a genuine issue and highlighting what is still a minor issue I have nothing but sympathy for victim of law abuse. From the innocents languishing in jail without trial to the men in the video. However, that does not nullify the need for such a law and that laws do save much more than they are misused. One day we might be in a position where such laws are not needed. And these laws shouldn't be done away with but modified so that unscrupulous do not misuse the laws

Yes,the bolded part is exactly the right solution.Of course, the laws shouldn't be done away with but amendments should be made to treat both the sexes equally which isn't happening right now. Coming to the %,i'm afraid the numbers are scary. The % of convicted people to arrested people in the year 2012 was a mere 4% all over India and if you take a city like Bangalore the % is a scary 0.66% according to this article. And i strongly disagree that Men are privileged in all walks of life.Could you explain how men are getting better education, nourishment, employment, salary etc? This might have been the case a couple of decades ago but it definitely isn't true now. If there is a sex that's privileged,it definitely isn't the male sex.

In Hollywood it is true though :) Also lot of tennis players protested over this. This is universal problem. These are minor things. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-EmDy3w1X8]Patricia Arquette Winner of Best Actress In A Supporting Role Oscar 2015 [HQ] - YouTube[/ame] Women have seperate seats in the bus. Men don't in chennai. That is one thing i notice. Also for movie those days there used to be que for ladies and men. Ladies que would be always short. So lot of guys would use those ladies to get ticket for them. Those were old days. Major thing is at the time of Nribaya rape i don't think Delhi had even a single woman police. Funny thing is Delhi chief minister was a woman (she was for 15 years) What did she do to empower the woman? India is world no.10 when it comes to women politicians. USA is still way behind it. We have had woman president, prime minister, chief minister , governor what not. Nobody stifles them in politics. The women politicians didn't seem to do much. But in lot of other areas they make progress. But sites like storypick come up with high number of videos, articles about feminism just to generate readership and increasingly creates a gender divide. Remember the video where a girl who talks about fart a lot while rejecting a guy  This is the kind of videos which show consistently men in poor light, tick off many. Ever since social media became part of our lives this "feminism" has spiraled out of control. In the name of "feminism" they call men all sorts of names for cheap attention. They want more "likes". Hope sanity returns treat everyone as human being. Woman's lib has far more visibility than men's rights . I would say 99% to 1 %.

One only needs to look at the top comments in that video to understand how stupid her speech was.A white woman in the US is the most privileged being on the planet. No wonder their divorce rates are so high and more and more young men are opting out of marriage. http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/barbara-hollingsworth/bachelor-nation-70-men-aged-20-34-are-not-married 70% of men between 20-34 are not married. Women have special privileges in a lot of fields and somehow Men are the privileged sex The equal pay rule in Tennis Grand slams is one of the most biased issues in professional sports. For starters,Men have to play BO 5 sets while Women play BO 3 sets. (Notice Male privilege here) Men's games usually attract more world wide interest than Women's games but still Women are paid the same as men. (Male privilege) Women's final tickets are cheaper than Men's finals tickets by up to 3 times but Women still are paid the same as men. (Male privilege) In short,Women's tennis leeches off Men's tennis. The "Market" should be the only one that decides the prize money in professional sports but the Grand slam organizers are sick of Feminists protests that they decided to pay women the same as men though men play longer, attract a bigger audience, have a bigger world wide following.

Main stream media is to be blamed for a lot of things. How often do you see them covering the issues of Men?Men's rights are treated like a speck of dust in front of Women's rights.

So you want rights for the most privileged gender in each and every thing, from birth, to death, to life to education? :hysterical: Next what extra rights for the billionaires as they are so down-trodden :hysterical: People are so dumb that they don't understand if a gender is already so highly privileged and get everything more than the other, there is no need to fight for any rights or any imaginary slights :hysterical:

You are being incredibly naive or never been to India. Even with separate seats women are regularly molested, groped on buses. You dont have to take my words for it, just board any bus at peak time. A single bus. And prove me wrong Imagine if there was no segregation of seats or standing places

This is just confirmation bias. There are an equal umber of videos mocking women, sexulizing them, calling them dumb. Of course no one uses terms such as men rights or anti-feminism, these videos are considered routine Women who genuinely want to put men down are in the minority.Yet like right wing and hindutva, they are called into attention. They are as much feminists as only Hindutva guys are hindus and no one else And I will repeat this again, you will not hear of men's rights because they are already over privileged. Just like you wont hear about billionaire rights or white rights. That would be ridiculous
