You dont have to take my words for it, just board any bus at peak time. A single bus. There are an equal umber of videos mocking women, sexulizing them, calling them dumb. Of course no one uses terms such as men rights or anti-feminism, these videos are considered routine Women who genuinely want to put men down are in the minority.Yet like right wing and hindutva, they are called into attention. They are as much feminists as only Hindutva guys are hindus and no one else And I will repeat this again, you will not hear of men's rights because they are already over privileged. Just like you wont hear about billionaire rights or white rights. That would be ridiculous What does women being assaulted have to do with equality? And if there are so many pre-existing privileges for men, care to list them out? In most judicial systems, a women's word is given more weight than a man's. If you go file a report alleging a man of assaulting you, he will be behind bars in the blink of an eye. Of course later on if no sufficient evidence is provided, he would be released. But in the initial stages of the matter women are certainly believed to be telling the truth. Take that rapist in Nagaland for example. People went on a rampage and killed the accused just because some woman said he did something wrong. The sort of unwritten privileges that women have build up to a lot.

I'm asking for equality plain and simple.Why does the media never report male spouses being abused when they make up close to 40% of the total abuses? Main stream media caters to women since they make up majority of their viewers and hence they are biased against men.

Apart from physical violence a middle class woman enjoys all the freedom a man enjoys. Yes in poor families they are still being treated poorly. Most of these ridicules about men come from women who thoroughly enjoy freedom . One of my cousin has opened a feminist page supporting woman.. he flooded every day with feminist news to the point even women got turned off lol. It kinda tell me the feminism will continue as long as men resist. If they get on board even they will start hating femenism. That undercurrent between men and women will always exist.. But then we have people like these guys.

Yes men are indeed privileged in all walks of life, from better education to better nourishment to better employment, to better salary, etc, etc 2) The reason I am against such a huge hue and cry is because the % of such cases are still very minimal while the % of women who genuinely need help from such laws is huge. By highlighting exception (which will be there in every law, every single law on earth can be misused by greedy people) you are taking away the limelight from a genuine issue and highlighting what is still a minor issue I have nothing but sympathy for victim of law abuse. From the innocents languishing in jail without trial to the men in the video. However, that does not nullify the need for such a law and that laws do save much more than they are misused. One day we might be in a position where such laws are not needed. And these laws shouldn't be done away with but modified so that unscrupulous do not misuse the laws The laws that are made with pre determined victims are much prone to misuse than the laws which see its all parties as equals .It looks that people have learnt nothing of 100 years of failed communist revolution.They came with workers rights as workers plight was miserable and then they got overboard by passing laws that workers are always right. result places which were ruled by communists like West Bengal became totally bankrupt .Today we have seen countries like China totally reversed those laws to allow FDI in their country .In India there is too demand for reforms of labour laws . Similarly whether there are laws which favour women, SC,Sts , minorities etc are much more prone to be misused than other laws. Today we have plenty of backward castes which are getting benefit of reservation despite they are not at all being discriminated .
