THX_1138
wow... i just noticed something dravid: only one warm up match! unlike last time when we had two 4 day games, we might not have the opportunity to get properly aclimatized! Link to comment
Mandrake
We do play the tri series but its tests first I guess Link to comment

Chaos
i would really add uthappa in test squad. Hope his technique will get tighter cuz he pokes on the offside and also has big shuffle. Link to comment
fineleg
i would really add uthappa in test squad. Hope his technique will get tighter cuz he pokes on the offside and also has big shuffle. Even YS (who is yuseless in tests) will play Test match better than RU :hysterical: RU is very good for ODIs at #6 or #7 - but to play RU in tests? :hahaha: Link to comment
bharat297
wow... i just noticed something dravid: only one warm up match! unlike last time when we had two 4 day games' date=' we might not have the opportunity to get properly aclimatized![/quote'] I have been mentioning this for weeks and weeks now, and nearly everyone on this forum has argued with me and said that it wont be a concern. What is worse is that unlike 4 years ago, the warm ups arent even on the Test pitches. We play 1 warm up game on Junction Oval, Melbourne. Link to comment
Chandan
I have been mentioning this for weeks and weeks now' date=' and [b']nearly everyone on this forum has argued with me and said that it wont be a concern. What is worse is that unlike 4 years ago, the warm ups arent even on the Test pitches. We play 1 warm up game on Junction Oval, Melbourne. That is not true. I know that just one 3-day match prior to the test series is too little and everyone knows that too. Ideally we play 2 tour matches before the tests start in every series. And Dravid as captain had been banging on this even before leaving for England. One more thing: When we had the tour match at MCG in 03-04, it was on a different pitch because we had a new drop-in pitch for the 3rd test match. At Brisbane we had played at Allan Border Ground, not Gabba, if I remember correctly. Link to comment
