The only real achievement for you guys is beating SA, The tournament format allows for top 8 ranked teams to reach the QF easily so it's not much of an achievement really reaching the QF.

That's something you would expect to hear from a fan of a minnow team. "Hey we won hearts despite being crap, what if we crashed out in QF". :P To be honest, Pak batting and fielding is actually minnow level.

profster Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 No silver lining here for Pakistan. No winning hearts or any of the other vital organs. Made the QF because of the league format. Pathetic batting, horrible fielding, one and half fantastic fast bowlers. To quote the Indian cliches, no situation awareness, no process, no playing of the designated team role, no expressing yourself on the field (though Kohli imistakes t for something else in terms of MC & BC) etc. They need a systemic overhaul. It seems like IK and his ilk did more long-term damage to Pakistani cricket than the short-term gain of a world cup win. If Afridi is the equivalent of SRT for the Pakistani youngsters in the team, then it is a huge problem to fix.
