sticky wicket Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 44 days long! 2011 was a marathon, can't believe ICC stuck with the duration again. then looking at wiki, 2019 World Cup has the following dates 30 May to 15 July :omg: I think this format is ideal, but the duration the World Cup is pathetic, teams having to wait for more than 7 days for their next game in group stage was ridiculous The knockouts took 12 days, which could have been done in 7-8 days. Should have been done and dusted inside 4 weeks, might have given us more exciting games too

Hope ICC reverts back to that format and please get this whole thing done in 30 days, not 45 odd days.
