Apples and oranges. We all know 'Bowlers win matches' - in Test cricket. We need to be able to take 20 wkts. Batsmen are picked based on ability and aukat. Dhawan's and Rohit' aukat is well proven. Pujata's verdict is still out, he needs one more away series. But he has to be picked for Home series to maintain form. If Kohli is picking batsmen based on pitches..he is an idiota..
