AmreekanDesi Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Im not one for conspiracy theories but has anyone else noticed that ever since the documentary fiasco (and btw I believe it was the wrong decision to ban it on part of our govt), BBC has gone full throttle on posting anti India news stories. not a day passes that it plucks some random, obscure news out of a country as huge as India and makes it one of its top news. Today it calls Delhi , the world's filthiest city. Anyone who follows bbc regularly must have noticed it and the timing of this onset is interesting. Its clear that's its an agenda they are following since the controversy. I cant really avoid it either. In most of my college's buildings' entrance and common areas we have TV's with news headlines and they source their news mostly from bbc, cnn, nytimes etc and this is a theme ive been noticing with bbc sourced news for almost a month now. my issue is that the average American (or any avg guy) are neither interested nro have the time or inclination to really follow detailed news and form opinions and narratives abt foreign countries from such instances and frankly this is the bbc unfairly using its influence to punish a country for taking a decision against it
