Being an electrical engineer from Jamshedpur working as an executive in Busan Steel Plant, many women would have lined up to be his suitor. But he has given this acid attack survivor a new life. He also part funded her expensive treatment(facial reconstruction surgeries to regain her eyesight, speech and auditory faculties). Kudos to this brave lady Sonali Mukherjee, a source of inspiration for all of us. Instead of sulking/committing suicide/losing hope in life she is the face of acid attack survivors in India and is the rallying point for people against this menace. She is the real diva and role model, not that cheapo Padukone. Her attackers secured bail and are roaming freely these days :facepalm:, we have well and truly failed our women as a country. Acid attacks in India are increasing in frequency for the past few years :((, high time the GOI brings a very severe law against perpetrators of this ghastly crime, treat acid attack as murder damn it.
