mishra Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Above was all for Official state curriculum, While Madarasaah textbook of Pakistan. minorities’ overall Portrayal non-muslims are generally portrayed in the madrassa textbooks reviewed in one of three ways: (1) kafirs (infidels) or mushrakeen(pagans), (2) dhimmis (non-muslims living under islamic rule), or (3) murtids (apostates, i.e. people who have turned away . Commission on international religious Freedom from islam).non-muslims are never described as citizens with the constitutionally-protected rights which accompany citizenship In every madrassa textbook reviewed, the concept of jihad has been reduced from its wider meaning of personal development to violent conflict in the name of islam, considered to be the duty of every muslim. The Qur’anic verse commanding the believer to “kill the pagans [or infidels or unbelievers] wherever you find them” is often cited with no context. Hope they take unprecedented step of shutting them down. So we can close them on our side too.

zen Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 SX-NT4jAy24 ^ another good discussion :nice: Many of us think that proper democracy in Pak will help to improve its relations with Ind, however when it comes to policies against Ind, Pak Army, ISI and its civilian government all appear to be on the same page The video discusses Nawaz Sheriff's role in 1993 Mumbai blasts, Kargil War, etc. Mushraff and Nawaz probably anticipated that with the peace talk on, Ind would not be too vigilant and Pak would be able to gain a quick win in Kargil. With the support of US and China, it would be difficult to drive Pak out. And if things go wrong, Nawaz can blame the rogue Mushraff Ind knows about Pak Army and ISI, but can it even afford to trust the democratically elected govt in Pak :dontknow:
mishra Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 http://www.dawn.com/news/1198510 KARACHI: Geeta, the Indian girl living at the Edhi Home at Meethadar for over 12 years now, was on Tuesday paid a visit by the Indian High Commissioner Dr T.C.A. Raghavan and Mrs Raghavan who brought her good tidings from India along with several gifts. The meeting with the young lady was private with Mrs Bilquis Edhi and son Faisal Edhi present while Maulana Abdul Sattar Edhi waited downstairs. But speaking to media, the Indian High Commissioner said that his presence here in the narrow streets of Meethadar was itself a gesture towards peace in the region and may even pave way for resumption of India-Pakistan dialogue. How Come our media forgot to pick this story. :two_thumbs_up: Edhi family and Pakistani icfers. They knew she was a Hindu and raised her as a Hindu.
