This is a thread on Sports / Exotic Cars where you could post about your fav car, or one you have test driven or one you own, etc. Let's me start by saying that I have always loved Ferraris. Some time ago when I was visiting Paris, I made an impromptu decision to rent one. The car available was a California, I do not recall the model year. Ofc, you cannot drive fast in Paris but I thought driving around Paris in a Ferrari would be a good experience in itself. When I got behind the wheels, the feeling was awesome and expectations very high. When I started driving it, it did not feel as sporty as I was hoping it would be. I thought may be because it is the California model. Then I noticed 3 buttons on the steering wheel. IIRC, I went in to the sportiest settings and the car immediately tightened up. The engine became responsive. And it felt as good as I had imagined the California convertible would be. It was impossible to test it to its limits in the city, however I had some fun driving it through the tunnels where there are no traffic cameras, etc. I would slow down before going in to the tunnel and then press the pedal. The car would gallop and make that amazing sound in the tunnel .... Awesome experience!

I have usually been more of a Ferrari fan but the new Lambo Hurracan is slowly but surely becoming my favorite .... From the reviews that I have read it tends to understeer but it does look special .... Am I sure Lambo will sort out the understeer problems too (if it has not done that already) kxeznjWGjmo :woot:

^ the car looks as if it means business .... the side mirror design is cool too, esp. considering factors such as aerodynamics .... and the single wiper at the middle of the windshield

I took a ride in this amphibious thing: Goes straight from road to sea..:nice: Try matching that with a Ferrari or lamborghini :rofl:duckboat-620x412.jpg
cool :nice: how different was the experience from driving to the lake and then taking a speed boat vs. taking the above straight from road into the lake? Or may be using a hovercraft?

Needs to lose the school-bus look, though! Ugh. BTW, BMW makes amphibious bikes, don't they? I saw one on Dhoom 3 :-)!!

It appears to be a version of Camry. Which markets is it sold in?
Nope, Its not a version of camry, Plus mark x is rear wheel drive, Sold in japanesse market, Pak has got plenty of jdm import and market here due to pathetic local models, However the beauty mark x is barely importable due to ridiculous duties thanks to govt and assemblers cartel here.

Well i live near lahore, Islamabad has the best roads in Pak though where lowered rides could sustain a drop. I have been to Bilal Gunj,Lahore plenty of times, Got coilovers, lowering springs, electrical stuff, parts from half cuts and lots of stuff from there, That is the main place to get kabli used stuff plucked from half cuts. Apart from that i have deep knowledge about local car market, consumer behavior and catagories. Thankfully pretty diversified in this field from custom to normal stuff. Other drawback here is polloution and dust that ruin the detailed ride, In my area its really tough to drive lowered ride, Let alone lowered ride im using 215/45/17 :--D
