Should ajinkya Rahane bat at 3?

I have been saying this for ages, Rahane is more suited at 3 than 5 and pujara is more suited at 5,if you want to play tailunt, play him at 6 since there are games which suggests that he is good at shielding tailenders and stick partnership with them.

Completely agree with this. I don't think Pujara can play well with the tail as Rahane does. Rahane provides that stability to the late middle order. He scores fast too when required. Rohit is too inconsistent and will leave the lower middle order venerable. Rahane is doing incredibly well at the no 5 position and team is benefiting from it. Why are so many peepz so obsessed with personal records :facepalm: Rahane should get runs even if that leaves our batting venerable :facepalm:

The thing is why involve ur self into such a situation, Rahane is ur best bat along with vijay in test, and definitely technically better equipped to play at 3,however, I feel pujara is best suited at 5 rather than 6

I will go with ajinkya at 4......no:4 spot is for the best batsmen in the side....he is easily the best guy in the Indian test side.....no:3 can be retained by Pujara.....and kohli will be ideal at no:5....he can shift the gears when required

Pujara should be #3,he's playing in that position for a long time.a strong,reliant batsman must be there in the #5-6 position who can rescue the team,who better than rahane
