Tiger80 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Airtel has started daylight robery of its postpaid mobile users.Earlier You can ask for 3g /4g top up when your mobile data finishes, from now it is not possible.they first will remove your 3 g packs and then only they can activate more 3 g if needed, in other words if you forget reactivate 3g packs next months then get ready to pay 1500-2000 monthly bill So all airtel mobile post paid users be careful or shift to some other company

Kalia_Test Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Honestly, this smartbytes stuff does not make sense for postpaid users. I mean if people can add packages at any time, it is as good as going for a prepaid. We can change the postpaid plan at any time AFAIK i.e you don't need to wait till end of billing cycle - I changed my bill plan in middle of billing cycle a few times and the new plan got activated in a couple of hrs on pro-rata basis for rest of billing cycle. Postpaid should mean you pay for certain data limit per month ( and probably reduced speed or something after limit ). Postpaid will make sense for people who have a good idea of how much data they need per month and can choose a monthly rental accordingly. If usage is erratic ( for quite a good number of people - this is true ), then better go for pre-paid.
