Maybe a solution might be to give SC/ST candidates 1-2 years coaching after accepting them if they are below the normal threshold. Then they can join the mainstream course with other peers. That is the current procedure (1 year prep program)

vayuu1 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 The problem with these institutions these days is, they care for marks rather than understanding and excellence, there was this case in which a student of a highly reputed institute, wasn't able to explain an 11th class question.
