Very surprising as to why such a formidable team in the SC failed every single time across the Palk Strait. Especially in the 00s we had a beast of a team with so many ATGs and every single time they came up a cropper there. Aus,Pak,Eng,RSA all have won there, some of them multiple times.

As for Moenn Ali that was a case of complacency more than anything. And actually in the test matches against Pakistan even Moenn Ali would have looked like a more potent bowler than Herath.
