Such a situation is very common in the current era. Michael Clarke is another example - has a home-away avg diff of around 15-20; almost like Jaya and Samara. Anderson himself, though improved, probably also has stats like Broad. Philander is another example. Same is also true for many SC spinners who have done well primarily on SC pitches. Steyn was the closest we had to an all-pitch bowler, but he's fading away.
