Gollum Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Never did I think way back in 07 that the guy who got smacked to oblivion by UV would turn out to be such a brilliant performer. :hatsoff: One of the most devastating bowlers when on song, so many memorable match winning spells already at the age of 29 :omg::omg: and a stellar record against so many top batsmen of this era. Might end up with 500-600 test wickets.If only he can improve his batting he will cement himself as a very good all rounder. You feel like smacking his face all the time but have a grudging respect for his abilities. Will never forget how he ripped through the fab 4 in our 2011 tour to England. Respect to the brat:hail: IMO he is among the top 3 fast bowlers post 2010 in test cricket.

Sometimes, he suddenly gets into his groove even on the flattest of pitches and wreck havoc. You can never take him for granted. Now, he has got his pace back too which he was lacking at times last year.
G_B_ Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 he has got the physical stock to be more effective than Anderson in more variety of conditions. Injuries did let him down in his mid 20s. But has bounced back strongly from there. I think he will reach about 450-500 wickets...he 29 and should last another 4-5 years max.

Compared to Indian players or any other player he looked in perfect physique. Watching on tele, I never noticeed that. His physique is probably just around ideal for a pace bowler.
