swatpulla Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Sad when you consider that India has moved onto human powered ' date=' handpulled methods of public transport. google images are fun (inb4 someone posts specially filtered pics "[/quote'] You are dodging the question. Pakistani cities have as dirty and filthy slums that exist in Indian cities. But here are some extra problems that Paksitani cities face - - No electricity. - A failed and dying railways. - Lack of world class transport facilities. How are Pakistani cities more developed? I could give you more points for relatively superior cleanliness (assuming that's correct)... but how can you call this more developed?
Precambrian Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Yeah terrorism is a problem ' date=' but insane levels of pollution coupled with the reputation of being the rape capital of the world doesnt help delhi and India's cause either when it comes to such observations .[/quote'] What then explains Delhi making it to no.52 in world's top 100 city destinations then? For the record, India has got six cities in that list. Guess how many Pakistan has?:giggle: http://blog.euromonitor.com/2014/01/euromonitor-internationals-top-city-destinations-ranking.html
the don Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Amazing how Pakistanis here seem to assume that beautiful mountains and glaciers are exclusive to them. "Unmatched" natural beauty of Pakistan, lol. Look around, explore different places and your will realize how deluded you were. Yeah i mean the world has breathtaking beauty , but let's be honest , Pakistan boasts of some of the highest mountains , high altitude glaciers , it's basically a tourists delight , specifically talking about this particular region the korakoram highway and the adjoining areas are well documented with respect to having the most natural beauty and awe inspiring views in the region , i mean the world has some amazing places , but not much competition in this particular region tbh .

swatpulla Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Yeah terrorism is a problem ' date=' but insane levels of pollution coupled [b']with the reputation of being the rape capital of the world doesnt help delhi and India's cause either when it comes to such observations . Don't go by reputations, going by that, most Muslim countries would be a terrorism hub. (Pakistan is, but many aren't) Since you brought up rapes, here are some cold hard facts. 2,576 rapes in Paksitan Punjab in 2013 and ZERO convictions. http://tribune.com.pk/story/728949/zero-conviction-rate-for-rape-senator-proposes-constitutional-changes/ Obviously you are allowed to rape in Pakistan without any consequences, hence no noise agianst the problem.. no noise against rape means a Paak-Saaf reputation for Paksitan.
randomGuy Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Lol..don't burst the bubble. :giggle: imagine if pak actually had one of the many Indian localities like Gachibowli for ex. (which is relatively unknown btw). they would have proclaimed pak is the most developed country

Not just naturally, but the ethnic diversity and the mix of cultures is breathtaking.

Aesthetically pleasing ?? , well lets leave that to personal choice and observation
swatpulla Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 One of the things about India that Pakistanis cannot wrap their head around is women in public spaces. Here's a bewildered paki who was astonished to see something as mundane as women riding bikes around town. http://www.dawn.com/news/1136597 A democracy like India is a lot more open to criticism by it's own people, and these are the stories a lot of Paksitani brothers pick up and use it for chest-beating. If Pakistan actually did some soul searching about the way women are treated in Pakistan compared to India, they should see the truth.
Shivaji bhonsle Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Yeah i mean the world has breathtaking beauty ' date=' but let's be honest , Pakistan boasts of some of the highest mountains , high altitude glaciers , it's basically a tourists delight , specifically talking about this particular region the korakoram highway and the adjoining areas are well documented with respect to having the most natural beauty and awe inspiring views in the region , i mean the world has some amazing places , but not much competition in this particular region tbh .[/quote'] Not much competition? Rubbish.
swatpulla Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 India is diverse ' date=' ill give you that , sure . [b']Aesthetically pleasing ?? , well lets leave that to personal choice and observation Far more. We have the most beautiful parts of the Himalayan range and the mountains, glaciers, lakes, and the natural beauty we have is unmatched. Think of the Himalayas Pakistan has, now make it 10 times wider and more diverse. That's where I grew up, and that's the beauty I have witnessed.

Here's a bewildered paki who was astonished to see something as mundane as women riding bikes around town. http://www.dawn.com/news/1136597 Reminds me of how visitors from india are taken aback by the comparatively visible cleanliness and the general aesthetics including little details like the dressing sense and the personal grooming , read up on that too for a broader perspective :icflove:
randomGuy Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 :cantstop: seriously ?? you guys need to visiy Pakistan asap for a reality check like most of those visiting delegations to LUMS from India I could post a 100 pics of big and world class campuses/offices of large MNCs or pics of swanky apartments that have come in 100s in and arnd that locality but would just say that you have zero clue brother and would leave it at that.
Kalia_Test Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Just Sikkim has more beautiful landscapes than entire Pakistan. Recently one fellow posted a few pics of GB ( disputed area ) in Dawn newspaper of Pak and suddenly Pakis are thinking heaven is there :hysterical: Sikkim
swatpulla Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Here's a map of Paksitan Exclusive Himalayan range - :winky:
Kalia_Test Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Talking of cleanliness http://www.thenews.com.pk/Todays-News-4-199704-Karachi-becoming-a-large-garbage-bin-as-waste-management-woes-persist Karachi It has become apparent that whether or not the city’s municipal and civic agencies are operating under a proper provincial local government law, the ever-present problem of waste management will continue to persist, most evidently in the form of unattended garbage piles that pose serious health and environmental hazards. The exacerbation of the waste management system of the city can be adjudged by the fact that even important government areas and upscale vicinities are no longer guaranteed proper garbage removal services.
swatpulla Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Don brought up rapes, but is still to address my query regarding why rapes are allowed in Pakistan? Thousands of rapes an year and ZERO convictions? What kind of society is this.. I would like to know more. :((
Shivaji bhonsle Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are unbelievably beautiful.

Doesn't look anything like what Don suggested.
