Difference in conditions,putrevus. This Lankan team is quite strong in its back-yards and England don't have the best players for spin. And which team is not hammered in Australia? SL were white washed 2-nil, England were whitewashed 5-nil. So you can't compare there.

Mahela had a ginormous record at Galle.. he's now scored 2 of his 4 doubles at this ground. And Vaas, as ineffective as he is outside SL these days, he's just as potent in SL. What I loved was his quote at the end of the day thanking the English counties (Middlesex and W'shre) for improving his batting... it's like rubbing salt in their wounds.

:hysterical: Here is a good stat for you Salil - since the Bus parade in London, England have won only one test abroad thanks to our brainchild of bowling first at Bombay, dropping 8-10 catches and playing 5 batsmen.

Will England save this test? Just ove an hour of the game left, only 4 wickets in hands but to their relief, it is still raining there. They just have to pray that it keeps on raining for an hour at least.

It's drawn. A shame, as Sri Lanka dominated this series very convincingly after the first day and a half, and really deserved better than a 1-0 scoreline.
