Right. If players play badly and get out thats not an issue. The issue is when wrong decisions are given, which a second later is shown as wrong by TV replays. That is insane if technology cannot be used to assist in challenging or consulting for a decision.

Tharanga's rapped on the pads, Rauf takes his time - and up goes the finger. That would have hit the top of the off stump, though replays show the ball pitched outside the leg stump. A dodgy decision, again, but very well bowled by Harmison WU Tharanga lbw b Harmison 16 (42b 2x4 0x6) SR: 38.09

At the least we MUST relieve the umps of watching out for overstepping no balls. If we do that, I have no doubt that we will see a dramatic drop in the number of errors in LBW decisions.

Given our luck, I'd not be surprised if Rauf-the-Oaf were officiating in AUS!!! :angry_smile:

2 decisions that could have gone in favor of Lanka. Good to see things evening out because ENG have been a touch unlucky in this series.
