He is way better then raina for tests. Only Kohli can compete. In up coming test series KOHli sjould bat 4 and Sharma 6. Selecors had a mare Why is suddenly everyone agreeing with me on Shrama??? I though he was fat, bad attitude, flakey etc etc:--D

2 match winning performances in last 3 games, he is getting in groove. He has been given a long run but not a consistent one, he needs play as much as possible, he and Kohli are our future stars or they already are?

Yes. Exactly. He WAS. Now he is less so. And it is no coincidence that he is playing well. That is exactly what everyone in the world and their uncle said would happen. Early days yet, lets hope he keeps it going.

You need to get a reality check. When Sharma came on the scene, everyone was impressed with his stroke play. Then the string of poor/average performances in ODIs began to describe his career. He was getting fatter and looked like was becoming a wasted talent. Now he is gotten yet another chance and has done well. So what's the big deal? It's only good for Indian cricket that he is coming around and all of us are happy that he has. If you have a thread for a player and keep bumping it whenever he does well and leave it in hibernation when he does not, ofc you will always look good. :winky:

Yeah, his talent was obvious. If anything it shows pretty poor cricketing judgement KT if you had wanted Rohit to play for India whilst he was unfit and had a poor attitude.

This is something that many people just don't get. We all want the team to win ffs. So if someone helps us win, we're happy.

Top innings from Rohit again. Perhaps the best innings of his short career so far given the team situation. Will the selectors ask him to stay back for the tests? Or rather Rohit should score in the next 2 ODIs as well and force the selectors and the team management to let him stay with the team for the tests.

^ I will back him. Read this whole thread. I supported him as realised the brillinace he has and the fact failure will come like it does to all. But in long run he will deliver and silence the doubters, the process has started. The vast array of shots, the abilty to manouvre the ball and find gaps for singles or to launch in to attack and hit row z. The time at the crease when playing shots, the elegance. He is a superstar in the making. Lost weight, mentally tougher, piled on runs in FC cricket. No idea why he had a lynch mob after him The Rohit Sharma era has started:winky:
