Absolutely atrocious article. Trying to sell hits by appealing to the masses with the stupid Rohit hate and Rahane excuses. Edit: @article in the OP

Ashwin - 9 (impressive with ball, but some what disappointed with the bat) Mishra - 8.5 (excellent support for Ashwin and took charge when he got the chance, did well with the bat as well) Ishant - 8 (Played as much crucial role in the series win as Ashwin) Vijay, Pujara, Dhawan - 7 (All played well but didn't get to play in all matches) Kohli - 7 (Was positive as captain but didn't do very well as batsman, a bigger contribution from him would have seen India steam roll Srilanka 3-0) Saha - 7 (Two important fifties as a decent wicket keeper was fantastic) Rohit, Rahane = 6 (Played some good knocks but not consistent) Rahul - 4 (Only one good knock, nervous starter, deserves some more chances though) Binny, Ojha - 3 (Not much to write about) Yadav, Bhajii, Aaron - 2 (If you drop these players, the other eight won't even notice the difference)

I only like bowlers, fast bowlers to be precise. I do not agree with the ratings most of you have given.. here's mine - Ishant Sharma - 9.5/10 Umesh Yadav -7/10 ( People are forgetting the immaculate length and line he maintained for most part of the matches. He was a worthy partner to Ishant for about 70% of the tour. ) Binny - 6/10 - Was not as a bowler and held his own when noone really expected him to do anything with the ball. Can be considered for overseas tour, especially england , whenever that happens. Aaron - 5/10 - Could have done much better. Harbhajan - 0/10 Was a burden to the team. Mishra - 8.5/10 Good job done. Not easy to perform the way he did after a long gap from intll cricket Ashwin - 10/10

I don't think Bhajji deserves a place in the side again. Time for him to realize that India has better resources than him to do well.

The conditions were helpful to the seamers in general. Bowling average of 43 in these friendly conditions was poor. You need to be able to take wickets in order to be effective in test matches. Moreover, he was leaking runs too, which would be acceptable only if he had taken more wickets.

He bowled poorly in the third test but had kaushal's catch been taken when the score was 65/6 ,srl would have been AO by 120-130 amd yadav would have finished with 2-3 wkts ,but that's how the game works

I just feel that Bhajji throws his weight around. He is just too full of himself, and the team management agrees to these players with bloated egos because of their exploits in the 17th century.

You are just basing your judgement on the last part of the series where, I think he had mentally lost focus. I think a bowler like Yadav needs to be given space and stick every 2nd match to regain his focus.
