zen Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Recently, iirc, one Iranian film won the best foreign films Oscar, and some of the films have been appreciated at international film festivals .... Iran probably does not make that many movies per year so the percentage of quality films coming out of Iran is likely to be high so hoping for a good movie .... A.R Rahman's music sounds very good!

I read that Iran Govt funded part of the movie so it should have some authenticity from Islamic PoV but then... Also - movie is titled - Muhammad - Messenger of God. So it will be like a documentary on 'revelations' and won't touch upon Muhammad - the person and his life. We have to wait and see. Did the movie release already? If not when will it release? I am banking on English subtitles
