it took 20 odd years to cool down....always wondered how come a small nation with little infrastructure has been producing some quality players consistently....

Of course infra has a large part to play but it's also about sporting culture. It just amazes me how Australia with same population as Sri Lanka produces so many athelites in all sorts of sport. Can you believe an aussie won tour De France 4-5 years back.

I always believe it is embedded in every Aussie kid to follow a sport and do well. It is in their DNA to perform well hence.
