This is the reason we R not world beaters in cricket, raw talent rarely gets identified n nurtured even nations with limited resources like SL n Bangladesh R better then us, I have no doubt this guy could be a good prospect as he seems to bowl around 140 at this age n seems to hurry the batters, why could a state team which until now have a very mediocre bowling line up not give him a chance? 

He could have been a good prospect for limited overs format,, also IPL Would've made a difference to his career if it was an option then, Munis ,Kamran, could be the talent which could be made a difference in a country where we never had more then one strike Bowler at a time n sometimes not even that.

Domestic cricket should learn from IPL n be more professional in selecting, grooming n be more hardcore n competitive, our domestic cricket n state associations are run n handled badly , most R.

Maybe each state side should be branded like in IPl n have actions n have sponsors involved n get in world class coaches, technology, training n talent nurturing

When I recorded khan in Patna, he told me there used to be his senior bowler who used to bowl around 150- 155kph. And he wasnt the only guy who spoke about this bowler. But being from a state like bihar, he never got a chance. There are quite a few genuine pacers who never got a chance

Most  bowlers in Ranji Trophy bowl below 135 k.

There are lots of bowlers who bowl 120 k to 130 k.

Some bowl 125 k to 135 k.

Lots of others bowl 110 k to 120 k.

Only a  handful bowl 135 k to 150 k.

In such a scenario  HOW  are decent bowlers who can bowl at 140 k not even picked for their state teams ...I am not talking  just about the playing 11   ?
