coffee_rules
Esha/Isha/Trisha seems to be common girl name among friends I know. Richa is also very common. I don't think we will ever hear names like Gayathri, Savithri, Lakshmi, Saraswathi, Parvathi in the future gen.

Lurker
Nobody wants to be called Bheeshma god knows why may be we revere some personality but don't like to be like them........ It was a name more common in yesteryears and not in use anymore. One person whose name comes to mind immediately is the writer Bhishma Sahani. It is also prudent to remember that Bheeshma's actual name was Debvrata, which happens to be a pretty popular name amongst Bengalis particularly.
