beautifulgame Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Way too premature . Doubt Britain would walk away from single market access .So free movement agreement will most likely continue to exist tweaker 1
G_B_ Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I somehow doubt the free movement part.... the entire reason why UK voted to leave (at-last among voters) was to stop the free movement of people and control immigration. Remains to be seen if cricket is classified as a high enough job which does entail free movement. tweaker 1

beautifulgame Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Why would EU want them to have single market access when they walked out? I didnt say EU will want . I said Britain I.e the Boris Johnson and Gove . I really can't see them deciding to leave single market access despite Brexit referendum as that could be disastrous for Britain economy and could lead to break up UK. There are already Brexit campaigners who are backtracking on immigration. Heck just saw an article on Twitter that Scottish parliament also needs to ratify it if Britain are to pull out of EU . So whoever it is next conservative leader (Johnson, Gove or even if it's May) they will want to salvage the ecomony by maintaining the access to single market .Meaning agreeing something like EFTA which would mean Britain would still have free movement of people .
