Extremely Rare 290 Club in Test Cricket

Till date only 7 batsmen have scored a 290 in Test cricket. Some of the greatest batsmen are part of this extremely rare list.

Since we are discussing really big scores in test matches....another interesting one would be scores 250 to 289 in tests.

Again there would be too many batsmen who have scores in that range. To make it convenient will plan for a top 10 list featuring batsmen with most 250+ scores. How does that sound?

From India  .....Sehwag has been the master of big scores in test matches.

 

His highest scores are  319,   309,  293,  254  with  6 double hundreds in all..

 

Laxman   281   and   Dravid    270    are the other  Indians who have scored  250+   in tests.  

 

Tendulkar has highest scores of 248 and  241   which are also quite big scores.   He too has 6 double hundreds  and Dravid has 5.
