The Great BUCKNOR Thread

And how can you be sure that the third umpire will give the correct decision after watching the replay? What did he give today after watching the replays of Symonds stumping so many times and from so many angles?? I had NEVER felt as frustrated as I did today!!
Yes, the 3rd chump can still cheat in close calls like that, but it's absurd to imagine he can do the same for too obvious decisions. That'll be some achievement by itself.

How can this idiot buknor not ask to third umpire on stumping when symonds bats but prompts asks when dravid is caught' date=' this shows his bias against India , and still he is umpiring in indian matches.[/quote']Ganguly once gave 0 rating for him, and guess what, he screwed ind again in the next series as well.

Sachin vs Bucknor... I am worried! Tomorrow is a crunch day for India to atleast stay in the test...going by Bucknor's past record against God and the poor match he is having, I am fearing the worst. It can be a keeper catch where there's day light between bat and ball or it can be a LBW for not offering a shot, where the ball would bounce over the second pair of stumps!!!! btw..Mark Benson had a good day today...may be its his turn tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!:omg:

If Bucknor screws Sachin, again, India should declare war on Jamaica and obliterate Jamaica out of the world map... In the future generations, geography teachers must point to the world map and say " This was where a country called Jamaica once existed, till a blind, foolish cricket umpire called Steve Bucknor wrongfully gave a master batsman called Sachin Tendulkar out".

This reminds me of one incident 3 years back when I used to play league cricket in USA...There was this westindian who was old and could not find place in XI so he used to umpire. His idol was Bucknor....Used to come out wearing black pants, white coat and hat. Used to first nod his head and then slowly raise his finger..He irrirated ppl to no end. Did not understand LBW laws and what more he had rule book in his pocket. I already hated Bucky by then, and hated this guy as well (he was nice guy, but once he was in Bucky avataar, he was crook).. He once gave me out when I used my bat to stop ball rolling on the stumps. He said I am out because I hit the ball twice...I swear I wanted to hit this guy with my heavy bat..but my teammates stopped me.
Was this the umpire at Washington park in the ACC league? I play there...
