goose Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Indian ex cricket captain Sunny Gavaskar has written to Cricket Australia and to the BCCI requesting his name be dropped from the Border-Gavaskar tag used for the trophy being currently contested unless Harbhajan's test match ban is overturned and Bucknor and Benson removed from the elite umpiring panel. Cricker Australia have little choice in the matter and are now thought to be considering alternatives such as the Bucknor-Benson Trophy, and the Borderline-Farce Trophy.
