Please tell me where I say "no other sport" would tolerate such behavior or would provide examples of similar or worse behavior. Quote the exact and complete post where I make that claim. In fact long before you entered this thread - more than 2 years before, I made post #46 in this thread :

But, look at some of the other sports, as Bunny and HS have pointed out where there is hardly any sledging goes on. Yet when people try to justify sledging and abuse they quote examples from the worst behaved sports. We should be trying to emulate the best, shouldn't we?

What is so confusing about the above post, that you are quoting me examples from Rugby. In later posts I even give examples of the sports, cricket should be looking to emulate, and yet you are typing garbage after garbage!! On the contrary, you made the claim that "every sport" has such instances and come up a cropper when asked to produce some from the sports I've already listed. To top it call you bring an example for Rugby!!

Oh I see, so all these ethics / morality you've been championing for only extends to a few sports. Selective morality again, compare it to these sports, but neglect these. The very foundation of your ridiculous analogy is based on comparisons, whether you have any interest in the sport is completely irrelevant and from my understanding, no where did you explicitly preclude rugby from the comparisons. So, when is the self appointed moral compass going to start championing for those guys whose ar.se' Hopoate stuck his finger up, repeatedly too, I might add.

I would much rather look at higher examples being set by other sports and try to emulate them rather than look into the gutter and feel good about cricket.
