sourab10forever
GOOGLE PIXEL 2 & PIXEL 2 XL - FIRST IMPRESSIONS Google has unveiled the sequel to its flagship line : the pixel 2 and the pixel 2 XL are here and will be launched in India in November. Features : Qualcom 835 SOC and a 1.9GHz octa-core processor 4 GB RAM QHD+ pOLED Display Stereo Speakers 6' Screen on the P2 XL Prices start at Rs. 61,000 and Rs. 73,000 for Pixel 2 and XL respectively. Both phones have the Active Edge squeeze feature. 2700 mAh battery on the P2. 3520 mAh on the P2 XL. Bluetooh 5.0 First Thoughts : Let's get one thing straight : For me, the design sucks. Its so not 2017 with the huge bezels. The rounded corners in the XL don't go down well. The neon coloured power and volume rockers look a bit odd. Only thing that I love about the design are the colour variants and the back part. The colour options for the back panel are good and the design is kinda unique and makes it stand out(something that OnePlus should starts learning). As expected, google ins't really that good with hardware anyways. The HTC manufactured phones still isn't completely water-proof(Has an IP67 rating). The stereo speakers at the front is a bonus but these pixels still do not have wireless charging. Coming to the good things, the camera is certainly the USP for this device. Best set of cameras on a mobile.Period. Google has put all its machine learning advances to create the best camera experience. Portrait mode now works for the both front and back cam without the need of dual cameras. The software experience is great as expected from any google device. The best android environment and support for the latest android OS updates for 3 years certainly add up the reasons why you should consider buying this phone. Things like battery and performance Verdict : Design : 5/10 Value for money : 6/10 (There are similar options available at similar price) Software : 8/10 Camera : 9/10 Overall : 7/10 External links : Gadgets360 Review MKBHD Review : So what are your thoughts? How would you rate them? Lemmino... sourab10forever

Never expected this from Google especially given how they mocked apple and the iPhone last year for doing the same.

Camera and Software. Rest is mediocre.
