Is current test between Eng and Pak likely to be most dominating performance?

IIRC Lanka's win against ATG SA in Durban was ruthless domination from beginning to end, that will be my pick. But if we extend this to post 2000 period, our win in Leeds 2002 (innings defeat, we lost 8 wickets to their 20) is the most dominant considering Eng had the best use of conditions.

For me it's Perth 2008, not a huge win statistically but did dent the pride of Aussies. 2nd best win would probably be our recent win in SA on a minefield.

It is when you consider most of the Pakistani players were playing in England first time but rookies made us proud. Hopefully we will go on and win the test series for first time since 1996.

What happened to Yasir Shah? Injured?

Pakistan's recent away track record is the best among all other Asian teams. Also SL somehow managed to fight hard with ENG in ENG comparatively than IND. They won their last series test ,ODI n T20 in 2014. India is only team yet to perform well in ENG.

That rookie leggie is the reason you reached 360+ in the 1st place, without him you would have been bowled out for 280 runs and match complexion would have been very different. There's not much a spinner can do this time of the year in England but lower order runs are like gold dust.

india has already won test series in england in 2007....also if india was provided with 2 tests in 2014 , india would have won  by 1-0 ....india withered towards the end of the test series.

victory in 2007 is more than 10 years ago where better test players like sachin, dravid, laxman , ganguly, kumble were in. Now conditions are much more different. You need to accept that during last 10 years India is much weaker Test side in Eng. You just keep living in the past and blab about one and only win in 2007.

agree....the weak performance is mainly due to mixing of formats and desperately choosing limited overs batsmen in test......even raina and yuvraj have also played test cricket....that's a shame.
