kabira
When young S. Broad won the game for England, he was all over the place. Some called him next Flintoff, blah blah...come next ODI..he goes for 90 odd runs...and in last ODI he is the one who bowled that dreaded last over. Cricket keeps players humble... Strauss was captain last year and today he is not even in first 15. Sehwag was India's most happening player not too long ago and today he finds himself out of the team.. Bhajji who rocked Aussies not too long ago and has been kept out by Powar, You just cannot relax and take things for granted in this great game of cricket. Link to comment
dial_100
absolutely. it is very competitive out there..It is one of the best sports out there... It gives equal importance to each player. Unlike, Soccer and Hockey where only front guys are heros. In cricket every one can be. Sohail / V.Prasad... who would forget that... it is indeed a great leveler... Link to comment

Predator_05
Stuart Broad is a promising talent. He will become a very productive cricketer for England some day - these are still early days for him. So he got beat up by a few world class batsmen; some of whom are considered as the greatest batsmen to have ever played one-day cricket - it's not the end of the world for him. Link to comment
King
Remember Nehra's devastating spell against England in the WC'2003 and the next game he gave away 70+ runs off his 10 overs against Pakistan. This is something like that. Stuart Broad looks a pretty decent player. He certainly has kinks in his action and isn't perfect yet but with experience in international cricket he will get there. He certainly has fantastic skills with the bat though. Fast bowlers that can bat are a rarity these days. S.Broad has continued to fail against Rahul Dravid in particular. Rahul seems to score runs off Broad for fun barring the last ODI. It's not easy to bowl to the likes of Tendulkar, Rahul or even Yuvi. They have tonnes of experience in ODIs and will milk him. Still he looks a pretty good player to me. Link to comment

Chandan
stuart broad as a player remindz me a lot about irfan pathan... similar batting style.. young gun for eng.... that "Josh" But he is tall and very fast! Once he grows a bit stronger physically, he'll be faster. He is one to watch for in future! Link to comment
Cricketics
true chandan that.. meanwhile the future of cricket what i see is Michael Clarke, he will be one big thing.. thatz my feeling Link to comment
Ram
But he is tall and very fast! Once he grows a bit stronger physically, he'll be faster. He is one to watch for in future! His batting IS indeed similar to Pathan, both left handers and upright stance. He sure seem to have a lot of pedigree. I like the look of him. Definite future prospect of England. Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Well i wish cricket would shut up and humble that twat nasser hussain. If we win on sat and do the double he will surely have to eat humble pie Link to comment
