Sehwag, Kaarthik strike form d 3rd day of practice match against act 11 brings us gr8 news sehwag n kaarthick opened d innings instead of sehwag n jaffer jaffer actually came one down sehwag got a bliztering century 113 of 78 balls 2 sixes in that though his technique wasn't like his earlier didn't get 2 know from where was he trying 2 bring in his bat n where he wanted 2 hit d ball but runs, is all we want from him kaarthick fell 3 short of a well deserved century i.e. 97 no sixes his innigs was a bit of his class now, with jaffer 92 in 1st innings, sehwag 113 n kaarthick 97 in 2nd innings all openers among runs, which 2 of them will b playing is d question of 2 moment mayb sehwag has better chance than kaarthick bcoz of his xperience

@fineleg...its not abt the century...atleast his confidence will be back and thats all a class player like Viru needs...he has reached a three figure mark after a long time and this innings for sure help him playing the aussie quicks at WACA. Btw..are you sad he's back in form? :nervous:

Hehe...a century with some no name attack has gotten u all excited. whattosay...welcome back. Perth and the Aus bowlers will await Mr. VS :D BTW - this thread was created when VS screwed up his 1st inn.
Thanks. And one VS is form is better than 10 Jaffers/Karthiks/Dravids(oops :D) in form. Hope he plays at Perth and makes the Aussie bowlers feel the pain of his flashing blade.

All fackin along I've said don't mess with the batting order, had KKD and Jaffer opened you never know, maybe Jaffer would have played better since runs would have flowed from KKD's end. RD has got to take some of the blame for Jaffer's dismissals in the first 2 tests ...

A hundred is a hundred whether it is against mighty Aussie national team or whether it is against Aussie school boys. Well Done Sehwag!
Second that opinion..more so bcoz he was not there to prove his class...it was more of a fight with himself to over come that mental block which he's going through.

good show Sehwag, very well played. This inngs proved just 2 things.Sehwag is back to his natural game in match situation. And a practice match serves its purpose. It was very ideal for Sehwag to get a brilliant 100 in the middle and get useful match form. But everyone knows this was a FC warmup game, still an Indian toporder batter getting a 100 against his name is well worth it. obviously a player like Sehwag has no need to prove his class against a fc team, but this was proof of form and also he is the same old Sehwag, and he will be very happy for this quality match practice and a 100. Lets hope he gets 50 + at Perth, worth 100 + anywhere else.

its a stupid question, answer is no... i'll not be sad if he gets his form back. however this prime minister XI 100is not sufficient indication that he has got it back. seems like he'll play at Perth, if he gets a 100 at perth, then that will indicate the return to form.

A hundred is a hundred..no? Let's all pray that he carries in the same vein at WACA and give us the rollicking start that would set the tone for the entire test match and make the Aussies catch up play.
