What started with betting probe and SC getting involved has changed the power at BCCI and ICC.  Doubt if  BCCI will dare to challenge SC again.

Thats the issue, whom would BCCI trust if it recovers from this  downfall in power and clout in ICC and regains the clout it once had. Other boards have realized that BCCI is the weakest now as the previous committee were removed by SC. SC has been issuing order one after another to BCCI. Other boards have taken this opportunity to weaken the BCCI more and sadly these boards were one time supporters of BCCI.

@Malcolm Merlyn BCCI admins have lost their balls and castrated by Supreme Court. BCCI is like PCB now they are begging ICC for more funds.

What is happening is merely natural, because if it weren't, it wouldn't be happening. Its like gravity...things are merely falling where they ought to. The ICC is taking this shot, just like the BCCI took its shot 3 years ago. In 6 months the BCCI might be strong again and cripple the ICC and destroy the game. So be it, if thats the natural process.

ICC has done it bit to damage cricket. BCCI is one which is saving cricket. That is the root cause why cricket is developing in India and nations around India.

ICC has hitherto been powerless without BCCI support. We've never seen 9-1 or 8-2 votes before.

Not sure about your nationality, So aint sure how much you understand Indian politics relation with what is happening in ICC. How, Just look at MoM at what happened on 7 June SGM, affiliations of memebers who spoke against ICC pullout, affiliations of CoA members.

Saving grace is, if ICC can voted by 9-1 or 8-2, Few years down the line , It can reverse it with same vote. Else as I said, ICC has done its best to kill itself.

 

If decision isnt reversed, sooner or later India will end up creating another body of cricketers and tourney, to which International cricketer will aspire to be part of. IPL is just the beginning

Why does India need Intl cricketers? I thought India is generating 80% of the game's revenue? Now all of a sudden why do you want Empire's and gora's players? 

 

BCCI does not generate 80% revenue because BCCI does not exist in a vacuum. If India generates all the money independently, then a 5 test tour vs Zimbabae would earn the same revenue as a 4 test tour vs Australia. And we know that ain't true.

I think you did not get what i said. I did not say that India will stop recognising the talent. It will simply ensure that a new body like IPL becomes allmost out of bounds/ parameters of ICC.

India Pakistan match for CT on ebay is more expensive then CT finals. So dont give goraa player bullshit.
