DesiChap Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 The ony thing Australia can win is the race to the pavilion once their batsmen are out
Indus_Army Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I say NO!!!! ooooh...Hold your guns bro! A few weeks ago, this board was full of optimism when our team was chasing 499! A 200-250 run partnership by this pair or the next will get them home - a touch similar to Calcutta '01, Adelaide '03 etc. Ponting's still around and he's due for a biggie. (The 257 at MCG is still fresh in (some of) our minds)
Anakin Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 i want to make a bet on the aussies making the required scored... you offer me 3 to 1 odds.....i will bet 5000, if aussies win you pay me 15000 any takers?Count me in
Dravid Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Lol Aus can only win from here in EA CRICKET 07' date=' that too by autoplaying and not playing manually[/quote'] damn, u must suck at it:D ez manually too.. :P @topic- no way gonna happen..
fineleg Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 ooooh...Hold your guns bro! A few weeks ago, this board was full of optimism when our team was chasing 499! LOL @ above. True. Aus can surely win this, I sure hope they dont However they have the big guns who can pull this off.
King Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Aussies have a slim chance but it's not that impossible.
MundaPakistani Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Yeah Aussies will win with Asad Rauf becoming the first man to score a tripe century with out having to use a bat.
dial_100 Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Yeah Aussies will win with Asad Rauf becoming the first man to score a tripe century with out having to use a bat. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:. Well said MP. Especially, Bossy's stat clearly states that there are very very veryyyyyyyyyyy few who came close to chasing 400+. Here we are talking about W.A.C.a Perth wkt that so far has swallowed 32 batsmen merely @28 runs. So with 8 wkts in hand, Aussies have to score @44 runs per wkt.
Guest dada_rocks Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 So many manhoos watching the game together.. india's goose is cooked I guess
coffee_rules Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Whenever I have opened my laptop to see the match...India has lost couple of wkts. Tonight I am planning to watch only to expect the reverse effect on Aus. I am the biggest Manhoos of all!!!
ali0786 Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Aus can still win..they have too much time on hand..but its gonna be extremely difficult..does anyone know australia's record in chasing huge totals like this ? I dont think theyve been in this position very often...I remember them chasing 360 something against Pak few years ago
DesiChap Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Not sure aussifan will be left with his cloths on with this bet :giggle:
coffee_rules Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 They will get closer to 350 and go all out. Indians will choke and hand over the win.
Guest dada_rocks Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 This too muvh time routine I have heard so many times and have never seen them working
King Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Aus can still win..they have too much time on hand..but its gonna be extremely difficult..does anyone know australia's record in chasing huge totals like this ? I dont think theyve been in this position very often...I remember them chasing 360 something against Pak few years ago Couple of years ago they chased 300+ runs set by South Africa with Ponting scoring a glorious 100. Of course the pitch was not as menacing as this but they chased it on the last day I think. In fact Smith had declared their 2nd inning and still lost the test match.
jacky007 Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 its been still hammered by the pitch report that the pitch is still very good for batting ... so nothing is impossible.. the first session will be crucial for india to put ozs in more pressure by taking ponting n clarke cheaply. its still anyone's game with india having upper hand.
Guest dada_rocks Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Just hope ishant sharma finds his groove everythign will be fine..he didn't bowl well yesterday I am told
