Desi Cartman Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 yes that was quick indeed. It looks good and a useful feature.:two_thumbs_up: :dito: thanks
varun Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Today there is a red circle for unread posts Grey circle for read threads. Almost missed that. Please look closely, it's a cricket ball :cantstop:
Guest HariSampath Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Yes, it would be good if there is an icon (or a change to existing icon) to the left of the thread which shows this. Rather than have to go to user profile to find. Good suggestion. Today there is a red circle for unread posts Grey circle for read threads. Maybe a red circle with another outer circle or something like that to indicate threads you have posted. (outer circle will be same gray if it is read threads, outer circle will be same red if new unread posts exists) what about circles of different colors to indicate where users with multiple IDs have posted , just so they dont get confused ....eh...like that finey( whiney) ? :D
fineleg Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Neeye id create pannitu, inga vandhu chumma naradhar velai panre. (Translated: Hari is WL and is hell bent on causing confusion :D Period)
Guest HariSampath Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 ^...anyone here can just compare the post timings of ALL of whineleg posts from the first post, and you will find that NO post of whine(fine)leg will have same time stamp. But just compare mine, and it will have a few overlapping posts with same time....soooo...conclusion is obvious :-)
fineleg Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Alrite. No more on this site feedback thread. Wont hijack it. The guessing can continue in the other thread. http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=90382
ImranR Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Looks like a very good site so far and nearly 4000 members in less than 2 years is superb.
fineleg Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Varun, what does this icon indicate? A square (book like) with a red x (it sometimes shows up instead of the red circle for read/unread threads)?
apocalypse Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 are you saying about Articles? Can you post the picture here?
Dirty_South Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I think Finey/Whiney ( :D ) is ref to this
varun Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 ah that was for locked threads in which you've posted.. i've reverted it to the normal locked thread icon for now.
King Tendulkar Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Whats with all the feeds in the cricket section. Threads are meant to be started by posters
apocalypse Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Whats with all the feeds in the cricket section. Threads are meant to be started by posters sometimes feeds are moved to cricket section for discussion. You can see who moved the Feed by seeing end of the first post of the Feed
King Tendulkar Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Just to many of them. 1 or max 2 a day ok. But not loads like today
Cricketics Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Just to many of them. 1 or max 2 a day ok. But not loads like today take it like any other thread.. if the user id "Feed" won't have posted the article then some other user would have actually posted.. so either way its same thing..
Desi Cartman Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 I wanna bet on Aus-SL game ... can some please set it up ...
fineleg Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Is there a quicklink available for "View all unread posts since last visit" or "View all unread threads since last visit"...Not a Pri 1 request, but a P3/P4 request. More out of curiosity, since I've seen this in forums elzwhere
