ICF causing issues on Chrome Whenever I click in the textbox to reply to a post, it redirects me to the homepage :(( It was fine last night. One change is the new banner - could that be causing it?
was also happening to me this morning - just log out and log in to ICF again and it should be fine.

hello gunner, i have requested a lot of things but none have been looked for and i m sorry for those bad words but i am simply disgusted with these requests. That is why i decided to create new thread so that it catches moderators eyes.

There is a thread for SS please use that in the future. If it hasn't been done its possibly for a reason i.e. the moderator is busy. Nobody us paid to set up SS for you so please be patient and a bit more respectful

Well i don't quite understand one MOD can be busy but not all man and MOD's are responsible as well so they should have created it couple of days ago and now its just 7:30 hours left so i am amazed by this.

Stop acting like its a service you're paying for or that you know how the system works. A few moderators have rights and know-how to make SS or update it, if they're not available then the others can't do much.

then its up to u but what i expected is people need time to make their teams so if now SS is up then m sure there won't be more than 20 teams till start. So best of luck for future sachinism n m sorry if i disturbed u.

Dude all the Admins and Mods over here are Not Paid, Hence they have a Private life too. Its not possible for them to turn up everytime leaving behind the priorities of their real Life. They always do the best for the Site, I hope you understand.

Whenever I am opening a thread, it first loads and then it goes on and loads a blank page. I need to keep stopping it from loading the blank page. :(( It's happening only for this site. I don't know if the problem is on my side or with the browser(IE8). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a feedback for the forum moderators. I assume this is an open discussion forum and every one is mature enough to have healthy discussions and appreciate even diametrically opposite point of views. One thing I have noticed is that one of the special power moderators have is to 'delete' anyone's post at their discretion. The problem with this approach is moderator's actions are subjected to the perception and then mental state of the 'acting' moderator. So to avoid conflicts or 'bad blood' - I suggest that before deleting a certain post /topic - moderator should take a step back - give a warning to the concerned person(s) - and create a temporary topic, along the lines of "trash can" or something - giving others an opportunity to take appropriate step. As an example - gmail has a feature to undo your own actions. If Google can acknowledge that one can make mistake while sending/deleting your own email. How can one be so sure that s/he has made the right call by deleting other's posts. IMO outright deletion w/o warning or giving others opportunity to edit their posts is offensive and doesn't not put this website in right picture. There has to be a better way to do this - either as I suggested or any other way. -akshay

^ 1. There is way to undo deletion for moderators and admins. So posts can be restored if really needed. 2. If you feel something does not warrant deletion, please PM the concerned moderator for resolution of the dispute. 3. If you feel your exchange with the concerned moderator did not resolve your dispute, you can PM some admin. What you are asking for appears unreasonable - that is all posts to be deleted be moved to some temporary placeholder, the user given time to respond, and create a new thread and/or edit his posts if needed. Moderators and admins take out precious time for their day to day lives to try and keep this place in a working condition. If you don't like some action of theirs, please feel free to communicate with them in private, but don't expect elaborate procedures to be built in for simple things like post deletion.
