I doubt any parent could accept their child becoming a pornstar or a prostitute by choice without feeling like a complete failure as a parent. I have spent enough time on MBs to know that such specimens rarely know anything on the topic and just meander around trying to pick up petty arguments. Its no surprises then, that a vast majority of his 400-odd posts are mostly meaningless. And boy, for someone who chickened out shamelessly when i called him for an open debate on the comments i made on Pakistan in the Ishant Sharma thread, he does have a lot of impudence. Spot on. I never said i'd feel happy about my parenting skills if my daughter told me she is considering a career in porn. But as you correctly nailed earlier, I will give her the freedom of choice so long as she is over 18 yrs old. I know one thing for a fact- whatever my child does, i will be at his/her side in times of need. I am not the type of coward desi parent who'd disown their child or the dictator who'd lock them up, beat them up, etc etc. for doing something i don't approve. Even if my child is a serial killer and i know about it, i will still come to their doorstep with food if they are hungry, i will still worry about their health if they are sick and i will damn right do everything in my power to keep them safe and sound. So u basically have jumped from one set to another assuming some kind of correlation between these two sets .. Doctor/engineer/professor cud be conservative or liberal there is no rule whihc says doctor/enginner etc has to be one or another.. What u mean by drawing attention to GB road is poor.. poor doesn't mean conservative .. GB road is hardly the right example to start with there majority are forced sex-workers.
